Founded in 1996, the society has gone from strength to strength and boasts a membership of over 90 people.  We are based at our theatre in Alcalali.

We currently aim to produce three main shows a year. - one in the Spring, usually May, one in the Autumn and a Pantomime in January, for which we have become renowned.

For many of our members it is being part of an exciting theatrical project that interests them.  Whether yor forte is acting, dancing, singing or assisting others in other aspects of a production, there is something for you in Careline Theatre

As well as a strong adult membership, we have a very active junior section who meet on a Saturday morning for tuition in drama and dance.

​

Your level of commitment to the society can be as little or as much as you want.  Many of our non-acting members prefer to help out during the run of a show, whilst our performing members obviously commit a significantly greater amount of time to evening and the occasional weekend rehearsal.
